AI-assisted geospatial workflow automation using Python
- Developed AI-assisted tools using Python to automate repetitive GIS workflows, improving processing efficiency and supporting spatial analysis tasks.
- Created a semi-automated georeferencing workflow to streamline the preparation and alignment of spatial imagery.
- Designed tools with transferrable operations across coastal monitoring, environmental change detection, spatial digitisation and remote sensing workflows.

- Built a mean LST composite in Google Earth Engine using ECOSTRESS L2T LSTE science products.
- Sharpened a 70m LST composite to 10m resolution using a Random Forest trained on Sentinel-2 reflectance, ESRI land cover, GHSL built-surface fraction and SRTM elevation.
- Applied QC bit-masking and cloud filtering to multi-night ECOSTRESS tiles in R (terra), ensuring results were not contaminated by low-quality retrievals.
- Quantified an ~5°C nighttime temperature gap between a commercial area and a nature reserve across 2 nights in a heatwave.

- Developed a hierarchical multi-criteria suitability model in ArcGIS Pro to identify candidate sites for a replacement hospital using physical, environmental and social constraints.
- Combined DEM, flood risk, geology, ecology, land-use and transport datasets through rasterization, masking and weighted overlay analysis.
- Shortlisted 3 viable sites and recommended 1 based on transport access, proximity to population centres and limited environmental constraint.
